Tweet Relevance Data Set

The tweets in this collection are selected from the curated Twitter timeline of an Austrian political sciences organisation. Tweets have been first filtered for topic, according to the named entities that they contain, before a binary relevance annotation.

There are 62 sets in total, where each set consists of 50 tweets of which 8 are considered relevant to the use case of political analysis.

1. Provenance

This dataset was generated as part of the European Union FP7-ICT Strategic Targeted Research Project TrendMiner (No. 287863). It results from a collaboration of the SORA Institute for Social Research and Consulting and The University of Sheffield.
