GATE is a leading open-source toolkit for text mining, which has a strong track record of successfully deployed text analytics applications: mining financial reports, large-scale patent analysis, sentiment detection, etc.
We are pleased to announce the First GATE Summer School, which will be covering also the latest GATE 5.0 release.
The first week is aimed at GATE developers, whereas the second week is aimed at users (both research and commercial) of the open-source infrastructure.
An outline of the programme for each week appears on the left- to be delivered as a mixture of talks, demos, and hands-on exercises.
